Current Fishing Reports in Mono (CA)

Walker River (CA) 11/14/2010 ~ jim
Thanks for the report Anthony. I'm sorry to hear about the crowd. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior IMO. I'm glad the fishing was good but I would pass on it because of the crowd.

If you have any fishing tips for the Walker River, please put something on the tips page:

Walker River (CA) 11/13/2010 ~ Anthony
went up there a month ago with my buddy that fly fishes and it was the best dam fishing of my life caught 5 wild browns smallest was 4lbs and my biggest was a 5lbs my rookie brother in law landed 2 monster trout 1st one was a 6 pounder and his 2nd one was a 10lbs all 3 of us nailed fish all day I will say this the place was over crowded and the people up there fly fishing that day had no respect and kept trying to cramp us out of our spot on the river. We always respect other fishermen and never been so disrespected by fly fishermen in my life we had a guy sit be hind us wait tell one of had to re tie and than he walked out in to our spot now thats bad manors if you ask me I thought fly fishermen where better than that I felt like I was in so cal fishing at castaic lake with all the mexicans I fish a GL2 with a Stradic 2500FH on 4lb line . This place is worth the fishing and the drive from so cal but there will be ass holes up there to contend with...........more
