Thanks for the report fishnbike. Sorry we didn't have a spot for the Sacramento River in California. I've added that now. Here's the location:

09/17/10 Sacramento River (Salmon)
Sorry this report is not for the Consumnes River. I could not find a link for the Sacramento River on this site but I feel the need to get a salmon report out. I went out on the 17th in the Pocket Road area in South Sacramento for King Salmon after a face-to-face report from Broadway bate stating that there has been at least one fish per boat in that area. Long story short, we fished two rods for over 12 hours and not a single fish. Worse yet, there was at least 30 other boats through out the day and not a single fish on any of them. We trolled Silvertrons 90% of the time and even tried jigging for a while. Not sure what the report of "one fish per boat" is based on. In closing, I can say I saw the remains of one fish in the can at the cleaning station.

Perfect conditions. Fished with flies
Fished the N. Fork for an hour and the S. Fork for two hours and never say a fish. It was like the river was sterile.
