Because "these" [lol, there is only 1 creek but it goes by 2 names: Uvas & Carnadero] creek(s) are open during steelhead season, which is from Dec-March. C+R fishing w/barbless artificials but it can be pretty fun. Lots of other types of fish in there too.

You are not allowed to fish for steelhead in these streams.
They hold threatened steelhead and you will be fined.

Pk could you give me some info about Uvas and Carnadero? I would Like to fish there. How can i catch the steelhead and what other kinds of fish are in there. Where is a good access point?? Thanks a ton

Oh yes, there are steelhead in there! Plenty of other types of fish too.
