I usually just fish by the big bridge, next to the boat ramp..no weight just a big glob of chicken liver. Leave the bell open unless you got a clicker, put a piece of paper or somthing similar between the last two eyes, on the line and make sure it's barely heavy enough to hold your line down, And let it sit, I've caught cats up too 20-25 pounds like that.

Im still looking for catfishn tips @ Lake Sonoma.I do well on the bank under the bridge in the summer months.Can ANYONE tell me if they bite in cold water?

Still got the itch for some catfish.Cant find any info. on cold water cats at lake Sonoma.I want to take a trip up there and try but only if I know I have a chance of hooking up.Can ANYONE tell me if they bite this time of year? Thanks gino751

Looking for catfish tips at Lake Sonoma.I usually fish under the bridge by the dam and do pretty good during the summer at night.Can you catch cats in the winter out there? and on what baits?
