I took my son out to Gross last Sunday (9/7). Settled at the north end of the dam by 8AM. Got about 15 minutes of very good actions with several trailers for each cast. Then we got the lock jaws for the rest of the morning. Starting to see some salmon on top water, apparently going through their spawning cycle and not really interested in feeding. Left Gross rather disappointed after 3 hours.
