Fished the Conejos earlier this summer and it was running a little high at the time, and hard to get the fly to the fish. Stop in th tackle shop just a few miles west of Antonito for advice and some proper flys and a fishing map for public waters; great guys there. The stretch of river from Horca up to Platoro is about a senic as it can get and in the right water conditions can be amazing. A drive up to Platoro Reseviour is well worth it and many were fishing there as well. Well recommeded area, we really liked it.
