| Im so put up with Hagg Lake, i grew up there my whole life, its an awesome lake with huge potential but they dont plant enough fish, it gets fished out to fast! I really hope they turn Hagg into a quality place to fish, i think it would do great things for the community. |

| Sounds good, I'm going to be there tomorrow I like to fish for bass around the north cove of the lake. The wedding rings are my fav. the slower the better. |

Good catch, Fishncrab. You are correct, of course. The water HAD been low but the level is great now. With the water temperature approaching 50 degrees, trout fishing is, indeed. slow. Bass fishing remains poor. The water has not fully cleared but the lake is showing gradual improvement.

| Fishing has been VERY slow. I've gone twice the last two weeks. Only one fish caught each day with 3 lines out one day and 2 the other. I did catch a 15 lb fish but that was a fluke. I'd never seen a fish that big come out of Hagg. I've caught salmon that were smaller than this thing. Not even a nibble the rest of the time. I hope it picks up soon. I was trolling with the usual FF and a wedding ring/worm. Water level is HIGH, not low as sail cat said. Debris is improving a lot. Keep your eyes open for the occasional log though. Good luck and we'll see you out there. |

Henry Hagg opened March 1st although the water has been low, murky and strewn with debris. Fishing has been slow but should improve into April.

| I usually go fishing to Hagg lake and this last year had very little luck, some days ok, but most the time pourly. Any idea if this year is going to be a tag fishing at the opening this 2008? thanks. |

OK This is Weird!! SO on 5\6\06 went to hagg lake. Fish on shore w/ a worm. 4 Good sized rainbows on the grill that night. Went back a week later. 100s of panfish. Went back 9\3\05 and NOTHING went back the next weekend NOTHING NOT EVEN A FUDGING NIBBLE. Any one have an idea why the $#%%( this lake is amazing one month then THe next it sucks Dick.

| Fished Hagg Lake Sunday 9-16-07 from about 11am till 3:30pm. Caught 6 trout in a few hours. Five of the trout were 13-14+ inches and wide. We fished with four people using various bait. Caught one fish on a frog colored hotshot (the smallest fish) and others were caught using wedding rings with worm and red egg. The wedding ring with lime green beads with a worm did the best fishing. Fish were biting mostly when it rained and they fought hard! Was fun. Good eating too. We cooked up two of the big fish and had them for dinner that night. Good luck to everyone. Enjoy fishing. |

| Fished Hagg Lake last Saturday. Only one bite all day. Tried trolling with dark colored rooster tails near dam, worms, rainbow colored power bait. The fish where jumping around the boat all day! Wish I was fly fishing.I heard it was just stock with 10,000 trout on Monday. I will check it out this weekend and give another report. |

| Fished yesterday from about 3pm till dark. Never even had a nibble. Used every thing from spinning lures with salmon eggs, green powerbait, pink powerbait, minnows, and worms on bobbers. switched locations 4 times and still no bites. guess the fish just werent hungry. |

| Many fish caught today. Heard of a few people limiting out. Most were by the dam using green and rainbow powerbait. Get there very early to claim a good spot. |
