What a place to fish. . . .I hade two light spinning rods broken (one had the eyes popped off and the other was broken in half) by stripers on anchovies. What a sight to see your rod break from the pressure of a very LARGE fish. I caught a 24" stiper and fought him for about five minutes before brining him in...Cooooollll!!!!! Also, Park Mojave has been reported to have ten pounders there that they are throwing back because they are "too small." Be ready for a fight, the stripers are tough . . .
