been nailing them at hemenway around the ski wall could see the bait balls and them jumping everywhere went up to the dam and tried the coves and nothing but tossing long towards docks at the dam landed two huge stripper didn't weight them but over 10lbs box car didn't live up to big ones but had the most action over the weekend and boy is it hot. The wall and Boulder marina held a few fish as we trolled by and the cove near the hatchy had some trout held up in there and we tossed everything at them and nothing the shore person said marshmellows colored.....
Oct 15th 2008 Caught 6 stripers on a hard shad imitation at the tires (hemenway) in 30ft of water
Nov 12th went out, nothing at tires, went to the cove to the left of the hoover dam floats (no boating signs that float on the water to keep us away from the dam)that was at sunset, no fish on finder, no fish caught there either. then we trolled our way back towards hemenway, no luck, casted into a couple coves 1/2 way back to hemenway, caught a 2 lb largemouth and a bluegill (used a rubber jig with action tail w/ chrome spinner attached)
Nov 28th 2008 went out of echo bay thinking we'd catch some crappie or bass in the less fished waters, got a few hits ono the fish finder at 60ft, dropped some anchovies down, no luck getting em. hit a few coves, seen some schools of small bass, they scattered upon arrival though. hit another cove for about an hour, lots of weeds 3 ft down, some reeds, drifted and casted a rubber shad imitation and some spinners, no luck. Ended the day with a decent striper (24 incher) at the tires there at echo bay marina (night using anchovy with some split shots on a drop shot rig)6 hours one fish. made for a real nice dinner for 4, filleted, baste with olive oil, lemon pepper powder, little salt and pepper, some lemon juice, cook covered 20 minutes and eat AWSOME no fishy flavor, even the kids will eat it!

sure, #1 phony - we all go out to fox cove while you're reeling them in somewhere else.
dude.. i know exactly where to catch the bi99est bass you've ever seen. 8-10lb guarentee.. fish fox cove and box car at lake mead. use nitro night crawler and crawfish. then net some local shad and launch them out to what will be either a broken line or a new wall mount. :]
all right, everybody, not all at once, here! take heart, jason, its only been four months - before you know it this site will be inundated INUNDATED! with prescriptions for your lack of success (not to mention your painful ineptitude)
anyone doing any bass fishing from shore lately. I havent been able to catch many, just wondering?
