Hey when is that Fall Chinook run hitting the river? The Salmon Derby is happening soon Sept. 1,2,3rd. Must mean the fish are on their way. |

The boats are doing very well side drifing on the South Umpqua but some rain would help. I have seen quite a few taken at the Myrtle Creek bridge area from the bank. Small baits of eggs with red corkie has been working well. |

South Umpqua just started producing lots of fish. Side drifting with eggs seems to be the best. The Canyonville park to Larson bar drift has been doing well. |
