| You can always catch fish here, the problem is they're almost always small,especially the brookies. There are some better sized rainbows and cutbows the further into the wilderness you go. The area directly above the campground seemed to have very few fish back in mid- september. I had a much better day on the main Bonito in the wilderness back in may. there were some large rainbows. of course the main bonito has precious little water much of the rest of the year. |
