The action wasn't fast, but there was at least one nice rainbow in the 10-15 inch range in all the deeper pools. I caught four and and had a couple more on the hook as well, in a days fishing. I didn't see any bass or blue gill.In fact I fact I didn't see many fish at all, until I had them on the line.You just have to assume those rainbows are there and throw your nymph in.I fished the 3 miles above the trailhead.Don't expect any trout below the hot spring about 1/2 mile in.
