went to berryessa with my son on christmas eve worked the docks with some minnnows and crappie jigs not a bad day those crappie are so hard to find anyhow wound up with 4 crappie on jigs and minnows thought we were into a good school i located them with the jig and then we droped minnows on them 3 poles wih minnows all were hit at the same time what a fire drill these were take downs hard on ultra lites and then the bite was over for the crappie did manage 5 bass on the minnows and jig my son caught a 5 ponder on his ultra lite what a fight under the dock around the boats and finally caught and released no trout and the one guy i talk to been trolling on top from morning til about one and no hits realy strange anyhow we were fishing markley cove ...more
