I have heard of a number of fish being caught on the Whitaker to Wildcat run so far this year. With rains on 1/28 the river has came up over two feet in one night and should pull a good number of fish up into the upper stretches of the river. I think that there should be a lot of boats on the water over the next few days and should be quite successful.. What ever you do, don't discount the not so common colors used for steelhead. Most people are using red, pink, chartrues, and some orange. I have personally found green corkies with a small piece of pink yarn above the corkie to be very afective on these winter fish...
