I need to add a correction about the Napeequa. The Napeequa River from the mouth of the White River to the creek that flows from Twin Lakes is closed to fishing so that steelhead and Salmon are not caught. From the confluence of the creek from Twin lakes all the way to the headwaters, the Napeequa is open to fishing, but please check the regulations first!
(MAJOR hiking to reach the upper Napeequa valley, but well worth it) To camp on the lower Napeequa and White river: "Napeequa crossing" is a forest service campground just a little below the confluence of the White and Napeequa Rivers, It has an outhouse, and primitive campspots. The White river is closed too, up to White River Falls, above the falls I believe the river is open to fishing for native trout, you will need to check your Washington state regulations to be sure. Can be good fishing above the falls for pan sized trout! Also great place to see fall colors, bring a camera! The White River and Napeequa are main tributaries to Lake Wenatchee. |

| Thanks for the info. I did not know it was close year round. We'll keep this page up in case it ever does open up again. What the best place near the Napeequa River? |

There is nothing to report because the river has been closed for years.
Used to be good for native cutthroat and Rainbow, some large whitefish. |
