We had a blast , caught 3, 1 at 17 lbs. saw lots of jumpers, but not mant fish for other anglers. We were at Blue Creek between launch and the creek. Long leader needed.

Went to Cowlitz River Sunday, saw alot of anglers catching steelhead but lost alot of them to went home with 2 30" steelies and a nice 15" cutthroat.

12 steelhead were caught while i was there by blue creek hatchery and plenty were lost

a great river , consistent producer winter or summer its best to float it. I did find some bank spots though
