snagger71, thanks for the info on the Kalama. From what I've heard the Lewis is doing okay but not great. I do see boats out there so someone's getting fish.

chinook is closed as of the 20th of this month but allot of silvers roming around the mouth going thursday tired of chinook, anyone have a catch on the lewis yet ? before i make the drive there . if the kalama don't pan out

The Kalama has always been one of my favorite rivers to fish. I find that eggs & spoons are best followed by yarn. However, yarn is very good on the Toutle as well as eggs.
