alkali seems to be a god fishing lake with alot of problems, and over population of little fish seem to be diminishing the bigger ones. ive had alot of success fishing their in the past but latley the fishing has dwendled. my thoughts for this would include the low oxegen levels in the shallow lake through the hot parts of the summer. also in account of the killing off of and restocking of blue lake. blue creek runs into alkali and in turn ends up in lenore. in order to preserve these two great fishing waters i belive more management studies reflecting blue lake would be a plus. however your still able to catch large numbers of perch and bluegill of fryable size. good fishing
