water is running high but the fishing should start to pick up after the water drops.

Fished there the first of December. Those man made log jams are an eye sore on a pristine river. By the way , no fish.

No, but made a trek up there recently. They are destroying the upper section with a plan of 150 manmade log jams. Not just for road shoring but all over the river bed. I counted five already completed. Ugly. They claim its going to fix the Sockeye fishery but I have my doubts.

The river just above the lake puts out some really nice cutthroat in late October and early November. I caught severla cutts in the 18-20" range there in 03 and a nice cutt and my biggest Dolly in 04. Remember Dollys go back.

Fished a black Woolly Bugger or black Stonefly Nymph for both.

Access is a bit tough. Plan for a walk from the North Shore road and wadding.
