My friend usualy floats the lower section of the river but if you want to wad it, there are plenty of good spots to pull out and fish. this time of year i would recomend the lower river.

one of my friends is a steelhead guide on the tolt and he says that the fishing is pretty good right now. he just caught a 18 pounder on a little black worley bugger.

weres a good spot to go on the tolt? never fished this river before, i live about 1 hour away , whats the fishin like riht now for those matel heads?
