Fishing Reports for Minter Creeklogin to add a report
fish on @ 46 feet off Des,moins, Hit hard on spoon and a dodger, got it to the boat only to find out that it was a 25 pound plus native King crome bright and that really put a sour taste in my mouth when I thought I fianally caught a real nice fish to feed my family. But instead it had to be released knowing only later to be caught in some F--cking net. Thanks
Hey true fisherman, check out the nisqually soon it seems to be picking up with alot of nice chromers being caught.
Hit Minter today and walked out with my limit after pickin thru alot of fish. The run is winding down and most of the fish are dark.A word of caution,By the gate is a sheet posted that has times for fishing. If you fish before the official sunrise you will probally get handed a 109 dollar ticket like I did.I didnt see the sheet and started at 630,Sunrise was 742,we can fish 1 hr before sunrise and the sheet stated 642.12 minutes early and i got a ticket.Id hate to see anyone else get a ticket for sumthin that is so easy to walk by in the dark especially with the holidays around the corner. This will be my last year there as this just kinda ruined it for me
yeah ive fished the minter for the past 8 years, the russians will always be a problem. if one gets in my way or hits me with a weight they are gettin thrown in the creek. thanks
Hey guys can we tone down the language a bit? I know you're frustrated but the best thing to do is to report this to WDFW while it's happening. Give them a call (1-877-933-9847). However I don't recommend telling them "Some f-ing Russians are poaching fish!" Be polite. If they don't respond the way you want, keep trying. In my experience with WDFW they are very responsive. It's okay to vent but you also need to do something about it.
Russians are fuckin it up for the rest of us who follow the rules,, don't wanna sound like that but its fuckin true,,, try following the rules,, get a reg writtin in russian or something,,,
My CDL trainers were working with students, stopped the trucks at the hatchery and saw lots of spawning fish. They took a break from all the training and watched the fish. Call CDLSAM 253-858-3922 if you need a truck drivers license.
