Fished 2 hrs near hatchery-those that were getting hookups mostly snagging-one or two on the bank tops, a few fish around, sitting on bottom no doubt-one rolled in two hours....fish are kinda dark--need rain...lot of work for dark fish.

I was fishing the carbon today the 8th. I pulled into the parking lot at the skate park around 12:30 pm and was leary of leaving my truck because of some guy that was just hanging out looking in vehicles. Long story short i hesitantly started to walk the long walk to voights creek. I heard something so i turned around to see what he was doing and the guy grabbed a nice looking mountain bike out of the back a newer red dodge pick-up.He ran and jumped on the bike and rode down the trail. I saw where he went. So if your missing a mountain bike out of your red dodge pls contact me via the number i left or thru here and i will get back to you.

Ya still pretty slow looker. The salt salt has been pretty slow still also.Still waiting for silvers in the south sound area. When they show good numbers in the salt then shortly after they will start to show at the carbon and puyallup.Best bet is nisqually right now for the kings.

I knew i should have fished another river this morning but chose to return to the carbon, river was dropping and a little clearer.Super slow this a.m. not to sure about the evening but worked lower section a couple hours didnt even see a roll or surface.Heard there were a couple caught upstream but thats all i heard. Can only get better, fish are there if you have the day to work for one.For me,fishing this time of the year i hate to waste a day like this on a more or less dead river. This place will get good but its not happening yet.Back to the salt in the a.m. and troll the sound. Then i am working the canal for silvers on Monday hope to generate a good post.Sounds like the green was the place to hit today.Whats up at the skok?
