fished clover creek odd spots that r accessable to the public though alot is private land that is not posted but its always wise to not pollute garbage no matter how small and be respectfull of others property and to help maintain it if ur gonna use it. The creek fills with debry and gunky sute if not cleaned periodically but flows nice with some holes if u know where to explore. Native cut throat can be found through out the entire creek but they lay under the side embankments so u have to be quiet. They will strike a fly or mepps lure on the first dozen casts or drifts but soon get spooked out or wise to ur scheme. So hit another spot and come back when thyve chilled out. I catch and release only so as to maintain a good native habitat. I also debarb the hooks for easier extraction. Water level is high right now but in late summer more areas become accessable. Some patrons stock the creek periodically to help with the populatioon cuz the herons are hard on the fish but they balance out by getting rid of the nutrea.
