Pinks are coming in. And did pretty good on some small cutts and a 18 in. Dolly right in arlington over by the old boat launch. Rivers changed from last yr. Instead of flat til you get to the north side of the river theres 2 channels now, the main on the north and a secondary closer to haller park. The secondary is where the Cutts and Dolly's are holding.

10/10/10 did a couple days in Arlington. Saw a few taken in th 10lb range and caught a small cutt myself. saw about 3 large chums in the 15 to 20 lb range too. I myself have not landed a single coho or chum, not sure what I`m doing wrong. Still seems to be fairly light numbers coming in but the chums have thrown everyone for a loop. Did`nt expect to see them already, not sure what it meens for the coho run. Hav`nt seen the river since early yestarday. Figure by now with all the rain its blown out. I`ll check after work tonight to be sure. Good luck to ya`ll and if ya know somthing I don`t please share the info.

09/24/10 Went to haller park in Arlington yestarday. Hooked a couple. 1 with fly on spinning gear and egg sinker with about 4 ft lead and another on a gold spoon. Did`nt land any because of the whole barbless single point thing, but saw 3 taken illegaly with trebles. Tried to explain the rules but pulled the no english thing but they left immediatly after i told them. Hmmmmm? so going again today with my son and I`ll let ya`ll know how it goes

Ok, Ive seen em. They're in the river. I saw em with my own 2 eyes. and they got some wieght to em. saw a couple 15ers and quite a bit around 10. The waters still a little stained but definitely fishable. Hip or chest waders is prefered due to the water level. Good luck

Coho`s are coming. ive seen a small number of fish at the old arlington bridge over the past few days. About 50 or so at a time. Mostly jacks but have spotted a couple in the 15-20 lb. range. Saw some people around the sylvana area catch some jacks on fly rods and a couple on spinning gear. Dont forget its single point barbless hooks right now. Hopefully since we`ve had a couple decent rains larger numbers will come up. I`ll keep ya posted

Fished the stilly today, and it's still slow but worked out better then earlier this week.. Started the day off with a humpy, after throwing it back I foul hooked a small silver right away and tossed him back. Then it was quiet for some time when I hooked into a line stripper, ran fast and hard and then spit the hook. I never got to see that one but it felt big. I lost another one that was about 5 feet from shore, but it was dark red anyway. Next I caught the one I kept, for it's size it really was a short fight, but still fun. It was just over 32 inches long and weighed just slightly under 15 pounds. For the next 2 hours I couldn't get a single hit, it just died off. I didn't see any other fish caught today, but on my way out I saw a boat putting a gill net (only about15-20 feet long) in the river directly under north bound I-5 bridge. This did not look legal but they claimed they are tribal and legal for them to do so. Does any one know the areas netting is allowed on the stilly?
