went down to the Skook today sense the "HAWKS" wern't playin.
started by the cliff wall and worked my way up to the 1st hatchery pool. caught & releast 4 firetruck red silvers in the 8 to 15 lbs range soaking eggs under a bobber. river is still up from befor the last big rains running at about 250 cfs. visibility changes from 8 inches to 2.5 ft in some spots. good luck N tight lines |

| Seems like every time I go on skookumchuck I was bound to catch one or two adults at any given day. Early in the morning is best from 8AM-12PM. Mostly, Coho salmon is caught using variety of equipment. From my experience early in november my luck was with yarn (pink&whte) with corky. Late to early December Spoons worked well aswell as rapala shad minnow. |
